HOW TO BOOK

These fares are available from March 9th  until midnight on March 21st, 2017.

One big benefit of these Flight+Hotel or indeed Flight+Car holidays is that BA Holidays bookings only require you to pay a deposit now. The balance will only be payable 5 weeks before you travel.

(Flight only deals will still require full payment at time of booking, however).

You also earn 2 Avios per £1 spent on BA Holidays which is a nice extra to go with the regular Avios you will earn from your flights.

VERDICT

I’m not going to beat around the bush on this one. For the most part this sale is distinctly underwhelming.

I didn’t see anything of standout value in the long haul flight-only deals either in Business or First Class that had me reaching for my credit card.

There should be some value to be had with the short haul flight-only deals though where you can find sub £200-£250 return deals quite easily.

Some of the Flight+Hotel offers also look a pretty good deal. Take for example the Barbados offer highlighted above for £1899 pp – Club World flights alone are around £1700 for much of September, in which case you are getting 7 nights at a 4* hotel for an extra £200 pp which is actually a very good deal.
