Each Tuesday AccorHotels, which includes the likes of Pullman, Fairmont and Ibis hotels, releases a new batch of hotels for its ‘Private Sale’ offer and these usually offer hefty discounts of up to 50% off.

These rates are then bookable at participating hotels until midnight on Monday the following week.

How good is the deal?

I logged onto the Accor website this morning to see what level of discounts were being offered in which countries this week:

I found that they were offering discounts on hotels in New Zealand, Austria, France and the Czech Republic.

These Private Sales are a great addition to your booking arsenal and sit very nicely alongside the highly popular Happy Mondays (and Tuesdays) promotion which offers discounted UK hotel rooms every week at fixed band pricing starting at £25.

I took a quick look at a hotel to see just how good these savings were – Vienna is one of the cities included in this sale this week and I searched for a 2-night stay at the Mercure Hotel Raphael Wien.

So in total a saving of more than £45 across the stay.

Here is are some of the key Terms and Conditions:

The offer(s) is(are) proposed online on www.accorhotels.com for a one-week time period, from Tuesday morning to Monday evening, in other words, a period of 8 days (in exceptional circumstances, online offer duration may be reduced to 6 or 7 days for technical reasons).

Stays can only take place with a minimum of fifteen (15) days after the date of booking one or more offer(s). Dates available for stays are provided by each participating hotel.

The customer can enjoy a 30%, 40% or 50% discount (depending on the participating hotel) of the FULL RATE applicable on the dates selected when booking. The advertised price is valid for 1 or 2 persons.

Offers are valid for stays of minimum 1, 2 or 3 nights, depending on the offer.

Each offer booked must be prepaid online by credit card on www.accorhotels.com.

Offers cannot be modified, cancelled or exchanged after booking. Offers cannot be combined with other current discounts or special offers.

This offer qualifies for collecting Le Club AccorHotels points at hotels participating in the programme according to the usual points scale (as defined in the General Conditions of Use of Le Club AccorHotels programme). However, this offer cannot be booked using Le Club AccorHotels points.

Verdict

It is well worth bookmarking this article to remember to have a quick check back to this promotion each week as the participating hotels and indeed countries are refreshed each week. If there isn’t something of interest this week there could well be what you are looking for the following week.

As alluded to above between these Private Sales and the Happy Mondays promotion, AccorHotels do a good job of running fast-moving evolving sales and the odds of something interesting popping up are pretty decent and are the reason why I check both of these promotions each week.
