HURRY: Grab £175 tickets to Los Angeles or tickets to New Zealand for just £399!
Air New Zealand is repeating their enormously popular Black Friday Sale from previous years and it’s got even cheaper! This deal is offering 100 return tickets to Los Angeles for a ridiculously low £175 each and 50 return tickets to New Zealand for an equally fantastic £399 each.
You’d better have this dedicated Black Friday page loaded and ready though. Last year these sold out in minutes. The deals are being sold in two different slots, presumably to avoid their website collapsing under the onslaught of visitors.
If you are hoping to grab these, I would have the website loaded and ready 10 minutes before the tickets are released. Then start refreshing it constantly with a couple of minutes to go.
Top tips to grab tickets quickly
Air New Zealand has published a couple of bits of advice to help you secure tickets:
1.) Sign up to Airpoints
Airpoints is Air New Zealand’s frequent flyer programme. If you’re signed up to an Airpoints™ account and log in prior to the deals going live, you’ll find all your details pre-populated when you make your booking, which can give you vital seconds when trying to beat others to the deal.
2.) Use Fare Hold
Fare Hold gives you the opportunity to reserve fares for your selected itinerary at the displayed price for up to 3 days in exchange for a fee of £25 for international flights from the UK.
The advantage of Fare Hold is that you don’t have to complete your passenger details or select your seats until later. This is substantially quicker than completing your booking straight away but please note that the £25 fee is in addition to your flight price.
This last tip is definitely worth it. Even if you pay an additional £25 you’re still getting an enormous bargain! Don’t give yourself a nervous breakdown trying to fill out your passenger details at the speed of light.
Pay the Fare Hold and come back at your leisure to complete the booking.
