BA Holiday offers

There are also numerous Flight + Hotel or Flight + Car BA Holiday deals.

The benefits of BA Holiday deals are two-fold. Firstly, this can be a good way to pick up an excellent deal on your flights and hotels that would have been far more expensive to book separately.

Secondly, it’s worth remembering that BA Holidays only require full payment 5 weeks before your flight, with just a small deposit required at the time of booking. This may appeal if you don’t fancy paying off your October half-term break nine months in advance!

Limited time – save an extra £100 on holidays

  • £100 extra discount with a minimum spend of £2,500 per booking.
  • £50 extra discount with a minimum spend of £1,250 per booking.
  • £25 extra discount with a minimum spend of £650 per flight + car booking only.

How to book

Head over to the dedicated sale page on ba.com to view all of the available deals.

Alternatively, as mentioned above, the easiest place to start is probably the Low Fare Finder Tool on ba.com. This allows you to easily view the cheapest fares across a number of months in different cabins.

Bear in mind though that these prices are only updated every 24 hours, therefore the price you see on Low Fare Finder Tool may not fully reflect availability or price shifts.

Sale ends 31st January 2019

Verdict

For me, the real highlights of this sale are in long-haul economy as well as various Club World offers.

Looking at my notes from last year’s winter sale, there seems to have been a fair bit of fluctuation in terms of pricing. Many of the economy prices have dropped by quite a bit.  Noteworthy Club World deals include Shanghai, Nashville, Cape Town and Tel Aviv.

Another thing to consider with these super-low economy prices is that it’s definitely not worth redeeming Avios instead. Leaving aside the miles, the taxes alone on a London-Miami return redemption would be a whopping £375!

Is there anything that’s caught your eye in the BA sale?
