Confirmed: Marriott Bonvoy to replace Marriott Rewards, SPG & Ritz Carlton Rewards in February
One of the more bizarre aspects of the Marriott/Starwood changes in August 2018, was that they didn’t reveal a name for the new program. Well, we now have one – Marriott Bonvoy launches on 13th February 2019 – though I’m not sure everyone agrees the name was worth the wait 🙂

MasterCard Will Now Keep You From Being Surprised with Subscription Fees
In a nice, customer friendly move by MasterCard, customers that use a MasterCard for free trials will now be notified by the merchant before that first subscription fee kicks in. To make it even better, this notification will have to contain information on unsubscribing.

Almost 2 years ago, British Airways ran a promo where you could earn 150 BA Avios per dollar spent at Match.com. Several of the blogs covered the promo, so I decided I would buy a membership for $548.57 and earn 82,285 BA Avios.
