First Class offers
SWISS First Class is one of the best in the business (no pun intended!). However, it tends to elude many in the miles and points world since only those with top-tier status Miles and More status can book First Class tickets using miles.
If SWISS First is on your to-do list, a good sale bargain may well be your best bet.

How good are these deals?
In a word, excellent. And availability at these prices is generally very good at this point.
To give you an idea of the savings available, here’s the ‘regular’ price for two people travelling to Hong Kong on direct business class flights in March 2020:

As you can see, by booking during this sale, you’d save more than £5,000.
Unlike some other airlines, SWISS also offers free seat selection at the time of booking for business class passengers.
For a couple wishing to ensure they sit together, that benefit could easily be worth £250 considering the prices that the likes of British Airways charge if you want to select seats in advance but have no elite status.

The SWISS website offers an easy-to-use calendar function that allows you to easily see dates where the promotional prices are available without having to search for a specific date each time.
- Book by 19th May 2019
- As this is a ‘Companion Special’ you must book for at least 2 passengers to access the sale pricing.
- Travel between 1st June 2019 and 30th March 2020 (For China: 10th June 2019 -14th Feb 2020).
- Minimum stay requirement = 6 days or at least a Saturday night stay
- No changes/refunds possible
As well as Heathrow, there are also offers available from London City, Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh.
Verdict
These sale prices are very impressive. £998 per person for business class to Hong Kong is superb while Johannesburg, Mumbai and Sao Paulo are all interesting.
In terms of First Class deals, Shanghai at £1,700 per person is very good for 30 hours in SWISS First! Johannesburg and Buenos Aires are also attractive.
This sort of low pricing on premium cabin tickets out of London doesn’t come around every day so I definitely recommend taking a look to see what you can find.
