New British Airways Premium Economy amenities
British Airways announced a number of enhancements for their Premium Economy cabin earlier this year.
Following various menu enhancements in previous months, ‘phase two’ of the project launched on the 1st July. This saw the introduction of new World Traveller Plus amenity kits as well as a redesigned pillow and blanket.
My wife happened to be flying with BA on the launch date and confirmed that the new amenity kit was indeed available as scheduled. We posted some pictures of the new kit on Facebook last week and the reaction has been decidedly mixed, although personally, I do like the design.

British Airways hasn’t previously offered an amenity kit in Premium Economy. This isn’t a complete novelty though, Virgin Atlantic, for example, has been offering these in Premium for some time.

Double Virgin Atlantic Flying Club miles at Bicester Village
Between 10 June and 31 July 2019, Virgin Atlantic Flying Club members can get double Flying Club miles – that’s two miles for every £1 spent in the Village.
To receive your double Flying Club miles, you need to take your receipts and show this invitation as well as your Flying Club details to the Bicester Visitor Centre or Information Hub on the day of your visit.
Free night certificate for new Marriott members
Marriott is once again running a good offer to persuade you to join the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program.
