Earn Emirates Gold status with just one Business Class Flex or FlexPlus ticket

Emirates is offering the chance to earn Gold status with one just one trip, in a new ‘Fly Business, get Gold’ promotion this summer. 

If you’re a Blue or Silver member, you can now upgrade to Gold simply by flying in Business Class to and from selected destinations on Flex or Flex plus fares, connecting through Dubai.

Emirates Gold status normally requires 50,000 Tier Miles or 50 flights so this is undoubtedly a good offer if you can make it work.

How to book

You can book either a “Flex” or “Flex Plus” return ticket in Business Class. Unfortunately, “Special” and “Saver” fares are not eligible. One-way journeys are also ineligible for this offer.

Business Class on Emirates 777-300ER

Eligible Flights are defined as:

  • An Emirates marketed flight with EK designator; operated by Emirates or flydubai.
  • All other codeshare and interline flights are excluded from this offer.

You have until the 20th of August 2019 to complete your travel.

This tier upgrade to Gold will be valid for a period of one year from the date of upgrade.
